Background Data
The ULARA Watermaster is pleased to announce the availability of the Public Review Draft of Technical Memorandum No. 2 - Background Data (TM-2). For various reasons, the ULARA Salt and Nutrient Management Plan Technical Memoranda have been prepared and released in a different order than originally envisioned. TM-1, TM-3, TM-4 have previously been published for review; TM-5 is available for review now.
TM-2 was prepared by the ULARA Watermaster in association with Todd Groundwater and RMC, A Woodard & Curran Company. The purpose of TM-2 is to describe the data used to develop the 10-year “baseline data” for the SNMP that were needed as part of the development and calibration of a groundwater mixing model.
The draft of TM-2 can be downloaded by clicking the link below. The public comment period will be open for 30 days, beginning July 3, 2017 and ending on August 2, 2017.
Also note that the release of TM-2 coincides with the release of TM-5 and the July 13, 2017 public information meeting regarding the ongoing ULARA SNMP development. Ideally, attendees will have a chance to initially review TM-2 (and TM-5) in advance of the meeting. The public meeting will provide a summary of the ULARA SNMP to interested parties and stakeholders, with a focus on the results of the mixing model. Then, parties can submit comments on TM-2 and TM-5 within the allotted review period.
